Lime-o-Lux will stop its comedy activities and not organise any other events for the time being.

Soula Notos (GR/NL) will replace Arbi El Ayachi, who had to cancel unfortunately. In Soula, we found a good replacement act. She is a Dutch/Greek comedian, writer and actress who co-founded the Comedy Kitchen, a collective of funny ladies from all over the Benelux. She is a well-respected Mistress of Ceremony (MC) on comedy shows throughout Holland and Belgium. Soula has an opinion about everyone and everything, but is never crude or too sharp. In other words: she will charm the pants off of you with her wit!

"Adventures in Europe-Land" is Jovanka's first "European" show, in which she talks about her escape from the USA and about her former countrymen and women, who she understands less and less. After ten years in Europe, she notices that talking to Americans is a little bit “like hanging around the monkeys she evolved from”. Adventures in Europe-Land is first and foremost a classic, funny stand-up show, with lots of character comedy and improvization. Why does Jovanka love cats? Why do people in Somalia not empathize with our Western weight issues and was Jesus a good carpenter? These are just a few of the many questions Jovanka answers in this show!

Well pimping as in “playfully getting another performer to do something difficult or unpleasant which you probably wouldn’t do yourself” and which is one of many practises of improvisation theatre.

Straight from the Fringe festival, Norman “Holly” Lovett, a legend and once cast member of the Red Dwarf television series, brings his latest stand up routine to Luxembourg.

"NORMAN Lovett's Slide Show is, in a way, much like Jimmy Carr's show, except that instead of a cleverly crafted, incisive, frequently offensive one-liner coming along every other minute, with Norman, you get a slide. Real slides. On glass. Which is riskier than it sounds. Norman tells us he suffered a nasty cut when one of the slides broke. The slides touch nerves in the British psyche. Anyone with a neighbour less than assiduous about cutting his hedge will connect with his badly cut hedge sequence. Hubcap spotters are in for a real treat. And there is Norman himself, a comedy legend who fessed up to "over-napping" the day I saw him, but had Red Bulled himself up for the show. In a festival where Ricky Gervais has hired the Castle as a venue, and everyone is hoping their comedy take on the flaming terrorists at Glasgow Airport will win the prize, it is a joy and a privilege to spend an hour with Mr Lovett." Doubled Up - On Tour

Two of the finest comedy minds of their generation take their friendship to the limit with a groundbreaking tour/exercise in humility. Alistair Barrie has been performing comedy professionally for almost an entire century (this one.) He has now upset people on most major continents, and is seriously considering the offer of a residency in the Arctic Circle in late 2007 in order to irritate the penguins. A regular member of The Cutting Edge team at London's world famous Comedy Store, where he shamelessly attempts to introduce knob gags disguised as satire, Alistair has also appeared many times on Radio and TV, including The World Stands Up for Paramount, Green Wing for Channel 4, Loose Ends for BBC Radio 4 and BBC News 24 as a pundit, not an item.

Silky loves to make people laugh, and has cheapened that by doing it for money since 1994. He's been a bin man, a milk man, an evolutionary geneticist, and survived being reported dead to the Police. In 2004 Sarah Kendall was the first woman in nine years to receive a prestigious Perrier Award Nomination. Following her completely sold- out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, she went on to appear at the Brighton Comedy Festival and performed in the Perrier season at the Gielgud Theatre in London's West End.

Sarah has had huge success on the international circuit. She has performed at the Hong Kong Fringe, the Adelaide Fringe, four times at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, at the Berlin and Stavanger (Norway) Comedy Festivals, and in Los Angeles, Holland, South Africa, Singapore, New York and Belgium.

Gary Little, Comedian

Gary’s comedy career kicked off in 2003, and soon after, he entered The Stand Comedy Club/Daily Record New Talent Search and was one of seven finalists. The prize was the opportunity for all seven finalists to showcase their talents at the Edinburgh Festival. Gary quickly developed his comedy style and established himself as a solid competent act and within a year; he had written and performed his first solo performance at the Glasgow Comedy Festival. He has also featured in The Stand’s (Edinburgh) Best of Scotland shows in 2005 which have been sell out shows at The Fringe Festival every year.

Gary is now a confirmed headline in the UK and also an accomplished compere at clubs throughout Scotland.

Comedian, writer and former lawyer and law lecturer, Michael Mee has marked himself out as the latest Irish comedy talent to watch out for, with his intelligent, quick wit and flair for storytelling. Described by the Sunday Times as 'the brightest Irish comedy talent of recent times', his TV credits include The Stand Up Show (BBC1), The Empire Laughs Back (BBC1, Northern Ireland), The Late Late Show, Kenny Live, The Liffey Laughs and Don't Feed the Gondolas (RTE). Skits - burlesque comedy, Jerk – audience member, Yock – a belly laugh, Talking woman – delivers lines in comedy skits, The asbestos is down – the audience is ignoring the jokes, From hunger – a lousy performer, Mountaineer – a new comic, fresh from the Catskill resort circuit, Trailer – the strut taken before a strip, Shimmy – Shake the posterior, Bump – swing the hips forward, Grind – full circle swing of the pelvis, Milk it – get an audience to demand encores.

Barry, how did you like the gig in Luxembourg?
I loved it. It rates as one of the most exiting things that I have ever done. Up to that point, I had never even been abroad before and flying was a new thing to me as well so it was a very unique experience. The gig was lovely, really nice audience and and I felt so looked after. I have some of the gig on DVD it and brings back great memories for me. James and Veronique are so kind and welcoming it really helped me get over my initial nerves! The fact that I turned 25 while in Luxembourg is such a buzz and the city itself is amazing. I guess what Im saying is that I had an exellent time!

What were up up to since then?
I've been gigging like a madman and have even done some more globetrotting! I recently went and performed in Bahrain, in the middle east. Im slowly getting my head round this flying lark!

What are your plans for the future?
More comedy, more writing and Im getting ready to go to Edinburgh to do a few gigs about the place. Im performing a show called "Ghosts" which Im writing now for the Manchester Comedy Festival in October which should be fun!
